Chick Flick

Though I don’t want to admit it, Mythology has been okay now since we tend to watch lots of movies about it. It’s one of my majors this sem, and I actually hated it due to the fact that I have lots of names to remember, events, not to mention their spellings are the hardest. More than 10 pages to read and they’re all boring to the nth level. I’m telling you, you’ll just want to clean your house than reading about Mythology.

But then, like I said, we watched 3 movies about it for 2 weeks I guess? And it was fun and interesting. Of course, who would want to use their wild imagination when in fact they can watch movies. Good bye senseless imagery! XD We first watched, Troy. Oh hello there drop-dead-gorgeous guys! Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom! :D Tragic and violent. Next was The Odyssey. I love Athene there, she had a very pretty smile! ;) And the last was The Clash of Titans. Gosh, I saw the freaky and creepy Medusa here! :o Did you know her? Medusa actually means the sovereign female wisdom.

    OMG OMG I wanna comment asap! Hahaha Odyssey is one of my all time fave movie!! (or series, whatever!) I love it since I was a kid. heehee.

    I have seen Troy but didn’t like it that much. The 3rd movie, not yet.

    What’s your favorite subject? Algebra, Math, Calculus (geeky I know!)

    Do you like classic movies? yes! super duper! I’m fond of watching 90′s movies right now. haha they’re considered classic, right?

    I HATE MYTHOLOGY. I had to read The Odyessy (I spelled that wrong) my freshman year of high school and it was horrible. At least you like the movies though :)

    Oh I loved Troy! I never realized how hot Brad Pitt really was until I saw that movie, lol. I love greek and roman mythology in general, so much that I even took a course in it last year :)

    My favorite subject is English cause I have a really awesome teacher :)
    Well I have two brothers, one sister, one half sister, and that’s it for close family. (not including grandmas, aunts, etc)
    I like some classic movies, but most no.

  18. hindi din ako masyadong mahilig sa mythology. LOL

    I remember my dad, lagi nanonood ng mga ganyan. haha. pero hindi ko lang pinapansin. Pero depende din kasi sa movie. I know those movies are really great talaga. :)

    ‘Troy’ is one of my favorite movies! :) I love when all we do in class is watch movies. In History class we spent the past three classes watching ‘Flyboys’ and ‘Passchendale’.

  24. MMMMM Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom.. I couldn’t stop staring at Orlando Bloom throughout the LOTR series. I’ve not seen any of the movies mentioned above.. maybe I should?

    Mythology’s such a fun subject. It all depends on the type of professor you have, I guess. My teacher back in high school made it interesting so it was easy to remember all the names and stories of the characters.

    What’s your favorite subject? Anything math/computer-related.
    How many are you in the family? 4 but 7 if you count my grandparents and my uncle.
    Do you like classic movies? They’re alright.

    A mythology class actually sounds fun to me! I think stuff like that is so interesting. I think I’ve seen The Odyssey or at least part of it, but not the other 2.

  39. I love mythology and so I love watching mythology films but when it comes to memorizing the names? grrr God forbid! last year, I reported odyssey and it’s individual ah, can you imagine that? so many names to remember and God, his adventures are soo…. x.x
