(Not) A Planner Hoarder

Soo… The package from the seller arrived just in time as expected. Guess what it is. A planner! (yet again) Just when I thought I was contented with my Belle de Jour planner, I searched for NAVI planner out of nowhere. To be honest, in the first two months of the year, I felt like I should always update my planner but when the 3rd month came, it hit me. I was on the verge of throwing away my BDJ but I didn’t, thankfully (or I just wasted my money buying it). So without so much blah, I’ll compare and contrast my two planners. Just so you know, I love my NAVI better. Know the reasons below.
Cover wise. BDJ has this feminine and stylish vibe. But of course, it’s for girls. While NAVI oozes a classical, minimalistic feel. It’s best for travelers according to the makers but I don’t mind even if I am not much hooked to traveling. I like the black and pink combination of BDJ but I love the earth tones of NAVI. Both planners have the same texture (cover).
Size wise. BDJ is bigger and heavier than NAVI though I guess the papers of them are of just the same size. NAVI fits my bag well because it’s just like a notebook.
Inside pages. BDJ pages are so girly and colorful. NAVI sticks to brown and cream which are my favorite. I love how spacious NAVI’s weekly pages are. In my opinion, I have limited space on BDJ‘s, not to mention it has time.
Other features. BDJ has a lot more pages than NAVI. You know girl stuff and all; menstrual tracker, health check, dream board, etc. And those are what I’m going to miss from my BDJ. But yay for more than 5 pages of notes where I can write, doodle anything I want. Both have expense tracker and (insurance leads) coupons. There are two things I wish NAVI had which BDJ does: pen holder and back pocket (if that’s what they call it). I used to collect and put the receipts on that pocket but I guess I have to find another place to keep them.
Still, go NAVI! 
I got to admit I’ve lots of planners (at least 5) but I don’t ever use them. I started writing in a for a week and the next week, it’s thrown off somewhere. It’s not a habit of mine and I simply cannot cultivate a habit to write my stuff there often. I like drawing and writing my plans on blank white papers though. They are more convenient for me!
I am the type where I don’t maintain notes or records of what to do. May be there is something wrong with me or may be I am just too lazy.

Those are nice. It’s tempting to buy one. I’m using my cellphone as my planner. My to-do list, notes and schedule are all there.
ang cute ng planners mo!! i was planning to buy a planner before pero kasi naisip ko baka dahil sa katoxican ko sa work di ko din naman sya masulatan lagi.. kaya i mostly stick to my cellphone para sa mga scheds ko..
WHOAAAA Planner! when i pick a planner, i dont go with the looks. i like the ones with everything im looking for, and they must miss even ONE of those requirements. lol like, a world map, phil. map, budget plan, etc. HAHA!

omg the inside is sooo nice ! i used to use my planner all the time (the ones that school provides) but i’m slowly not using it as much

I am not a big planner person lol, though i just usually get them at target haha my school also provides one so that is what i am using. All i need is a calender plus special room for each day lol.
and i dont think i have enough fat to cover another person haha, because i still need some, but take it if you really want it lol
Haha I stopped getting a planner altogether because I found out that I wasn’t really keen on planners. I’m just going to be lazy in updating it.
I have a starbucks planner though just because bro has a spare one xD hehe it’s minimalist and I like it. But I so dearly loved the panda planner. Imma just keep it as a collectible but it’s expensive
so never mind…

Now I want to buy a new planner. Though I want the cute korean planner. It’s a little expensive so probably not. HAHAHA! And the stress of transferring all the notes and plans. HASSLE!

I find it so hard to find a planner I don’t just end up getting bored of and stop using, I’m glad you’ve found one so pretty!
I also have two planners this year (both Starbucks and Moleskine) but I ended up using the latter more regularly for the main reason that it’s lighter and more compact. I can bring it wherever and that’s important for me. Hehe. At least you found the perfect planner for you

Your lover should approve for you to wait. I mean, if he doesn’t then he doesn’t respect you enough. Dante wants to wait with me because of what he learned in Health class. He gets scared with that too easily. Hahahah. I wanted to wait when I had my first boyfriend (dante is my second) but now I am just like eh….whatever happens happens.
wow, two planner in hand? masyado bang madaming plans for the year na hindi kasya sa isang planner, lol.
Mine, I’m still using my Cosmo planner. Although meron mga week na talagang halatang hindi sya nagamit. haha Minsan nakakatamad nga lalo na kapag wala naman ‘big event’ na kelangan i-plan.
I was supposed to buy BDJ this year but I got a free planner from Fish and Co. which is very cute so since I know that I wont really be writing much on my planner (I use my phone’s calendar more) and I dont want to spend cash, I sticked with the free planner instead.

cool! i love your new planner better, too.. i actually planned on buying a BDJ before the year started but came to the conclusion that it doesn’t suit me very well. it’s too girly and i don’t like pink that much.. haha

I guess the NAVI is cuter because it’s smaller and fits your bag

Ooh, nice planners! I love the cover of the BDJ one, but I also like the simplicity of the NAVI one. I think I like the pages of the NAVI more because of how spacious they are. Seems more useful! I used to buy planners a lot, but haven’t lately. I just put everything in my computer now!

I used to be obsessed with keeping track of everything in my planner. I still love to look at them, see all the pages I can use, all the little goodies they come with, but lately they end up just sitting on my desk.
But yours is an awesome one. It almost makes me want to get one myself, lol
