Philippines: Is it Where We Are Now?

Yays for the icy cold temperature these past consecutive days. :)) It has some sort of bad and good sides for me, maybe for you, too. :)

The bad sides:

  • I know for sure that you’re wearing thick sweaters, jackets and the like- well, if you’re not that really strong to stand the cold weather. As a result, you’ll have tons of heavy clothing to wash and that will surely cause some backpains or something related. Well, if you have what we call labandera, poor her. I know that she’ll have a hard time washing those.
  • Hello laziness! Cold weather would be such a nice temperature to sleep all day long and that would mean we’re going to be very lazy to do some chores and to wake up so early! XD
  • Yes to no bathing! XD Some people maybe so lazy to take a bath during this weather because it’s very cold. *Oh yes, you can admit it. We know it. :p
  • Freaking dry skin. Yes. I don’t know but even if I used moisturizer aka body lotion, at the end of the day, there’s still the dryness. :( (

The good sides:

  • It’s better to be cold than to be hot. :D *Well, that’s my opinion.*
  • Less malling time. According to what I’ve felt, it’s colder outside the mall than in the mall itself.
  • Hello hot soups and indoor foodtrips! Me likey. ;)
  • More indoor time. I’m sure some of you won’t bother to go outside the house.
  • Mooooooore hugs! :))

    Yeah. I’m sort of used to it when we lived in Italy before. Tho, I still wear winter clothes (lol winter) because this climate change is so unexpected. Weirdddd~ XD

    Foodtrips and DVD marathons with loved ones. :>

  3. i actually like the cold weather pero sobrang lamig na eh! even if i’m wearing my jacket, anlamig pa rin! i still keep on saying, “brrrr, it’s sooo cold!” hahaha. XD
    ang sarap talaga matulog sa ganitong panahon! but i have no choice, i have to wake up very early in the morning pag TTh kasi 730 class ko nyan. and the water is f*ckin’ cold! naiimagine ko tuloy yung titanic! nyahahahaha! XD

    Haha! Agree ako sa No Bathing! Pero pansin ko lang, ako kasi pag maligo evening na. Mas mainit ang tubig pag gabi… well ganun kasi dito samin. Ewanko lang dyan sa place nyo. :\

    Hindi papatalo sa lamig. Naka shorts at sleeveless pa din akech. Hahaha! JK JK JK.

    x Oh Yes. Yet I tend to forget that it’s cold, and I’m not wearing any jackets.
    x Sure. It’s cool.
    x Sleep. Not that I don’t already sleep in school, but yeah. I sleep more now. :3

  6. Right now I’m wearing turtle neck sweater. HAHA. Then jogging pants, kulang na lang mg medyas ako sa sobrang lamig. And I agree, tinatamad ako maligo kapag ganito kalamig lalo na kapag madaling araw. xD

    yay~! yeah I agree with you it is really cold right now at Philippines sometimes I am lazy to woke up early and take a bath or lazy to go to school but I MUST! so I have no choice :(

    Oh yes I’m lovin the cold weather so much!! Now it’s obvious i’m a lazy person! ^^

    Well I’m still here at Baguio, and it’s UBER COLD here! 9degrees man! I’m freezing to death! But I still love it! I still take baths everday but not every morning because it’s cold during mornings and evenings! ^^ We have heater naman sa shower so mejo okay lang but I still shiver! lol and here sweater and jackets magkapatong talaga ^^

    But sa manila i don’t that kasi for me mainit pa din! sa manila sa gabi and morning lang malamig. not that cold din unlike here.I just wear normal clothes^^ For me kulang pa ung coldness jan sa manila. I’m a manila girl ^^but I just love cooooldness. but not freezing cold like here! ^^

    I’m really loving the cold weather. Sometimes it’s just super hard to focus especially when it’s extra cold in the morning. Minsan nga parang ang nipis parin ng jacket ko e kahit makapal na. SUPER COLD TALAGA!!! Haha.

    I hate it when the weather’s extremely cold. I hate the wind burns but it’s better naman than the hot weather. xD

  13. I kind of have mixed feelings about the cold. I mean, cold is okay but FREEZING COLD sucks.

  14. Im inlove with the weather this month but grrr nalalate na ako lagi sa class since I sleep moreeee. Fckng gosh that sucks :( Though I love the soups and indoor foods and more indoor time, less money to waste.

  15. I don’t wear jackets, which sucks because I’m near the aircon in our classroom which makes me feel colder.

    but.. I am loving the cold weather. Lesser use of the aircon so lesser bills to pay. haha..

    I think the cold weather is as good news (hehehehe) I love the cold breeze especially in the afternoon walk so refreshing! lol

  20. yeah.. super lamig nga ng pinas now.. pwo para skin kulang parin ung lamig hahahha.. even though binabagyo na kami d2 sa mindanao naka full blast prin ung aircon namin.. lolz.. nakukulangan pa ako sa lamig..

    Can you stand it? I prefer cold weathers than hot. I can’t stand the frequent rain though. Sana walang ulan pro malamig. lol xD

    Yeah know, one good thing when it is really windy is that you feel more refreshing, and feel less-pressured, and also I believe it lessens your hot-headedness. It’s just that, I really believe sometimes I’m becoming really mad for nothing. lols. :P

    for me ok ung weather.. kasi tipid sa eLectricity haha.. dhL minsan nLng ako gumamit ng fan ^^ and mas gusto ko maLamig kesa mainit.. yoko pagpawisan..
    pero.. disadv. nga Lng.. magkaka cough and coLds ka haha.. but it depends parin dba.. kung sakitin ka ehdi aun.. wee.. i just had it Last week.. and i’m pretty weLL now.. thanks for the tuseran forte.. LOLs.. eheh..
